Astronomy class at Forsyth Technical Community College
Five two-hour noncredit classes on Thursday nights 6:30pm to 8:30pm September 26-October 24
Held in SciWorks planetarium
Cost of the course is $50 per student
This is a class for beginners: people who know very little about astronomy, but are interested in learning more. The course covers topics such as the history of astronomy, solar system and planets, star facts, constellations, telescopes and a bit of cosmology. Weather permitting, there will be some outdoor naked eye viewing.
