{"id":1051,"date":"2014-09-22T14:45:21","date_gmt":"2014-09-22T18:45:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.fas37.org\/wp\/?p=1051"},"modified":"2022-09-30T23:03:48","modified_gmt":"2022-10-01T03:03:48","slug":"fas-meeting-tuesday-09-23-2014","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fas37.org\/wp\/fas-meeting-tuesday-09-23-2014\/","title":{"rendered":"September 2014 FAS Meeting"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The monthly meeting of the Forsyth Astronomical Society is this Tuesday night at 7:30 at SciWorks.<\/p>\n<p>We will have another planning meeting for the September  27th New Telescope Buyer&#8217;s clinic, before the regular monthly meeting, starting at 6:00 pm at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fas37.org\/wp\/sciworks\/\" title=\"SciWorks\">SciWorks<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The program will be by me and will be a discussion of the dark sky observing sites historically used by the FAS, most of which are along nearby sections of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nps.gov\/blri\/index.htm\">Blue Ridge Parkway<\/a>, and a discussion of preparedness for cold weather observing.
