On Saturday, July 8, Forsyth Astronomical Society will host a public solar observation<\/a> on the front lawn of Forsyth County Central Library. Solar telescopes will be available to safely view the Sun and solar activity such as sunspots and solar flares. The event will run from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM and is free and open to the public. Central Library is located at 660 W Fifth Street in Winston-Salem.<\/p>\n\n\n
