WEATHER UPDATE: Saturday\u2019s daytime clouds are forecasted to dissipate after sunset. The public observation at Kaleideum North will take place as scheduled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

GOODBYE Kaleideum North!
Kaleideum North will close on December 31, 2023.
A brand new Kaleideum facility will open downtown on Third Street in the spring of 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To celebrate, the stars will be shining brightly in the night sky. We\u2019ll bring them closer to you with a night of astronomical observation at Kaleideum North<\/a> (400 West Hanes Mill Road in Winston-Salem, NC) from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm on Saturday, December 30.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

This event is weather-dependent, and this post on the FAS Website<\/a> along with the FAS Facebook page<\/a> will be updated with the weather decision the evening before the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This event is free and open to the public. The observing site is in the museum parking lot. As a courtesy to those present, if you arrive after dark, please turn off your headlights and drive slowly with just your parking lights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
