Our calendar of events has been extended and updated for the upcoming 2020 season. Some of the dates are tentative so check back occasionally to confirm. There will be a website and Facebook post the week or so before with more details for each event.
At Kaleideum North:
Feb. 1st, April 24nd (Friday-Statewide Star Party), June 13th, Sept. 12th.
At Pilot Mountain State Park:
Feb. 15th (rain date 02-29), April 25th (Statewide Star Party),
July 4th, November 14th (rain date 11-21).
At Stone Mountain State Park:
Jan. 18th, Feb. 22nd, March 14th, Oct. 10th, November 7th, Dec. 5th.
WFDD “Look Up and Listen” event(paid ticketed event):
Oct. 24th.
FAS annual Telescope Workshop at Kaleideum North:
1-4pm November 14th
Thanks to everyone who came out for any of our events this year. We love sharing our passion and knowledge for this wonderful pastime, hearing the WOWs and OHHHs from an equally passionate pubic when they look in the eyepieces of our instruments really makes it all worth it.
