On Saturday June the 8th the Forsyth Astronomical Society has a free public observation scheduled. As of this posting the weather forecast does NOT look conducive to the event with clouds and thunderstorms throughout the evening. It is tentatively canceled. If for some reason the weather forecast does a complete 180 and conditions change we will post it here and the club’s Facebook page.
Our next observation opportunity will be on July 4th at Pilot Mountain State Park. More details as the date approaches.
