Please join us for the March 2023 meeting of the Forsyth Astronomical Society.

The talk this month, given by Thomas Hefner of the Greensboro Astronomy Club, will be about William Herschel and his sister Caroline Herschel. William’s son, John Herschel, also did work in the field of astronomy and will be discussed as well. Besides the work in astronomy, the Herschel family were accomplished musicians and composers and some of their music will be presented as well.

You don’t have to be a member to attend. If you’re curious and have an interest in space and astronomy, come on out!

The program starts at 7:30 pm. The Society’s business meeting will take place after the program.
