Public observation at Forsyth County Central Library (Thu, February 26)

WEATHER UPDATE: Rain is predicted, so we will be indoors with astronomy activities.

Forsyth Astronomical Society will hold a public observation at Forsyth County Central Library on Thursday, February 26. The event runs from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM on the front lawn of the library at 660 West Fifth Street in Winston-Salem. Click here for directions or here for more information.

Pre-registration is NOT required, nor do you need your library card. The event is free and everyone is welcome! The library will be open.

If conditions are favorable, we will be able to see the Moon and other interesting celestial objects.

This event is dependent on the weather. Clouds and rain do make it difficult to observe the night sky, so this page and the FAS Facebook page will be updated with the weather decision the evening before the event.
