Public Solar Observation at Kaleideum (Saturday, April 25)

FAS will hold a public solar observation at Kaleideum (120 West 3rd Street) on Saturday, April 25, from 10 am to 12 noon. Solar telescopes will be available to safely view the Sun and solar activity such as sunspots and solar flares.

This program is part of the North Carolina Science Festival state-wide star party and is free and open to the public. Normal Admission fees apply for those who want to visit inside Kaleideum.

See here for directions and parking information.

This event is dependent on the WEATHER. Clouds and rain do make it difficult to observe the Sun, so check with us on the FAS website (www.fas37.org) and Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/ForsythAstronomical/) for a weather update.
