Public Solar Observation at Kaleideum (Saturday, July 25)

FAS will hold a public solar observation at Kaleideum (120 West 3rd Street) on Saturday, July 25, from 12 noon to 2 pm. Solar telescopes will be available to safely view the Sun and solar activity such as sunspots and solar flares.

FASโ€™s observation is free and open to the public. Our program is part of Kaleideumโ€™s Sun Safety Day, which runs from 11 am to 3 pm. Normal admission fees apply for anyone visiting inside Kaleideum.

This event is dependent on the WEATHER. Clouds and rain do make it difficult to observe the Sun, so check with us on the FAS website (www.fas37.org) or Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/ForsythAstronomical/) for a weather update.

See here for directions and parking information.
